Three pavilions and over 850 exhibitors from all over Italy: these are the record numbers of the next edition of the Independent Winegrowers’ Wine Market, which will be held from Saturday 26 to Monday 28 November 2022 at Piacenza Expo.
The three pavilions made available by the exhibition center will allow to welcome all the FIVI associates who have applied for participation and who on the last weekend of November will tell about their work and their philosophy firsthand, inviting you to taste and buy the wines for tasting. A dedicated tensile structure will host the gastronomy area, where food artisans will complete the exhibition with their proposals.
“The Piacenza Market was born with the desire to meet the public and promote our identity as Independent Winegrowers. It is our party, even before being a fair: for this reason we thought it right that all the members who requested it could participate, increasing the exhibition spaces – declares Lorenzo Cesconi, president of FIVI – After two complex years, with a edition postponed and one conditioned by the pandemic, with this eleventh market we want to give an even stronger sign of hope: the winemakers are a central element in the Italian economy and culture, and the Wine Market is the event that better than any other tells and highlights this centrality “.
As in the previous edition, the innovative element introduced in 2019 is reconfirmed, with the addition, to the traditional market weekend, of Monday as a day dedicated mainly to professional operators in the commercial sector and the Ho.Re.Ca. The online ticketing service will also be enhanced.
“There are many novelties in this edition, the result of a great investment in organizational terms and of the happy collaboration with Piacenza Expo: the Wine Market is an event that, year after year, continues to grow and has achieved important results – Cesconi continues – But it is not just a question of numbers: the public loves the market for the unique and unrepeatable atmosphere it breathes, and the winemakers care about this event because it is the one that most represents them consistently “.
